Our industrial division is often asked to do large jobs for offshore rigs, and other equipment that is exposed to the elements in order to increase the lifespan of the finish.  We recently did these control boxes which will be used for testing at Alvin Community College.  After they were fabricated they were delivered to us.  We cleaned them then hung them and preheated them at 400 degree's for about 15 minutes.  Before we could coat the boxes we plugged over 325 threaded holes on the boxes so as not to disrupt the threads, then the boxes were primed with an epoxy primer powder and cooked for an additional 10 minutes.  After the primer coat was done we did the boxes in dupont Sky White.  Turn around time on this job was 4 days.

Due to our Larger than most powder coating oven over-size jobs are not a problem with Performance Powder Coating, Inc.
